I watched in wonder , a mere child, as you and Winnie walk down that road, in the hot African sun, fists raised.
I knew you were in prison, I had learnt about you in Social Studies in primary school.
The air was so still, it was so warm that day, I could feel it and I could see the hazy lines on the screen.
Then all of a sudden the people around me roared, my mother cried, I could somehow feel that this was the world changing.
I too had cried at movies like Sarafina , and at the movie about you starring Danny Glover.
To finally see you, was amazing.
Like I had seen in the movie, I raised my fist and shouted
I celebrate you Madiba.
