You don’t have to fix everything.
Part of the reason you are so exhausted is that you have appointed yourself as the Martha Stewart or Mr Clean of the world and it is your job to make sure that you help EVERYONE with everything!
You’re a good person and you know how to do a lot of things, but your knowledge could be put to good use helping yourself , or helping people that are ready to receive and use your help to really better themselves.
Have you noticed that there are people that cannot even bother going on google and searching for an answer to their question and simply wait around for people like you to make a suggestion or send a link?
When you do send a link, they may not even click on it and even as you… what does the link say? You provide contacts for a job, links for them to apply but … they just won’t. Something always stands in their way.
Then there are people you don’t even know that you are trying to help e.g. that one person online that got their facts wrong (in your opinion) and so you MUST correct them ( resulting in a long exchange, wasted time and emotions) or your friend that is just not getting the marketing for their company right ( If only they could see what you see and LISTEN!)
You are wasting your time. Time is ticking. Its good to help people and fix things, but you can’t fix everything.
Grab a glass of wine.. or enjoy some tea time, put your feet up and get some rest. There is enough going on in your own life, wrestling with the lives of others won’t help either of you.
